Apps to make your life easier

We all have busy lives and sometimes the smallest thing can make your life a whole lot easier and less stressful. Here a 6 apps which I use in everyday life that are simple but save me time

This is a great tool which gives you the ability to park on any WCC parking space without the need for cash or credit cards. All you need to do is join up online and enter credit card details to keep you balance topped up. Then, when you park, all you need to do is either text your parking details in, or, on Android/iPhone, use the app to pay for your parking. You can set your time limit between 15mins and 2 hours, and once you return to your car, can get a refund on any time still left on the meter!

Evernote Scannable does exactly what its name says. This app allows you to scan receipts, documents, business cards or whatever you need to scan, and creates a PDF that you can email or save to your camera roll. Great for staff working remotely or on the move.

Dropbox is my favourite tool for storing files, from work documents to holiday snaps. The Dropbox mobile app is great as anything you need can be accessed on the move. You can set Dropbox up so that you can access files, even when you’re not online, and also to automatically upload files and images when you do have internet access.

LastPassLogoShadow.pngLastPass is a password management service that stores encrypted passwords in private accounts.  You need to create a strong Master password and then you can start filling in your vault. LastPass saves sites as you log in, imports sites from your email and allows you to import and upload from other password managers. You will only need to remember one password from now on!

Feedly is a news aggregator application for various web browsers and mobile devices running iOS and Android, also available as a cloud-based service. It compiles news feeds from a variety of online sources for the user to customize and share with others.

Stocard is an app which allows you to store all your loyalty cards on your phone. All you need to do is load on the details of your loyalty/store cards and then use the app at the checkout to collect points and discounts.
