Microsoft has finally given in to the dominance of Apple on mobile platforms and released their Office suite on iPad, giving user’s access to Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and just so you know if you already have an Office 365 account you get free access to it as part of the Office 365 plan!

This gives you full access to create, edit and collaborate on documents with colleagues, all on the go. To make things even better Microsoft has included the functionality to let you track changes as well. By synchronising with your OneDrive, documents become available simultaneously on all your mobile devices, assuming of course their connected to your OneDrive.

The product has been a long time coming and Microsoft seems to have completely re-designed the Office suite for the platform, and reviews suggest that the offering is suitably user-friend for the touch-screen inclined.

Feel free to go ahead and try it for yourself, who knows, it may just change the way you do business. From sitting in the office preparing a presentation, to casually editing documents at a coffee shop, Office holds the potential to free you from the office.
